The end of 2015

This is the end of 2015 this has been a great year in flox class and i got my Chromebook and i went Camp but now it is close to the end and almost a new year 2016.I am excited for 2016 because i am going to be a year 5 and i am going to be older and going to a new school with new people.

WALT Use precise nouns to add detail for our reader.

This week in writing we have been using precise nouns to make our writing more specific for the reader.

We took a paragraph and changed the nouns from general nouns to precise nouns.

Here is an example.

In the weekend I had to do lots of shopping with my Mum. We went to the shop diary to get some food steak. We also went to look for a present for my cousin’s birthday. I had to choose between a doll cool barbie doll and a soft toy teddy bear. After that we went to the warehouse to buy some clothes, I got two new items stuff and a pair of shoes footwear. Because I had been so good, mum took me to the shop to buy an ice block cold ice block. Lucky me!

GV Consequence map

On Tuesday Mr Hopkins came to Flox class We were reading cards like if someone was watching inappropriate videos or if you clicked on a link that took you to a very bad website and we made a consequence map.

Google expedition

On Thursday a man came to our school from google , he brought glasses from Australia and had brought it in to Hay Park. We put phones inside cardboard boxes and when we looked inside we went to a lot of places such as underwater and even space , it was awesome!!!

Student Toolkit 2015

On Tuesday we had a student toolkit and we presented things we have learned in class rooms we invited New Windsor to come watch and present their own toolkit

In Flox class we have made DLOs about the world cup i picked a country called England and they won the world cup in 2003 and they beat Fiji in the first game of the rugby world cup 2015.
